About Kathryn J. Wood, M.D., F.A.C.O.G. Medical Director, Dermalase Always On Site A Texas native, Dr. Kathryn Wood grew up in Richardson and attended Texas A&M University, where she received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry. After medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, she completed an Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Wood has been a board certified Ob/Gyn specialist since 1990. While she is experienced in all aspects of Obstetrics & Gynecology, the doctor has a special interest in Gynecology, female sexual dysfunction, hormonal disorders, and anti-aging health concerns. For more than a decade, Dr. Wood served in private practice in Plano. For over six years she has served the Frisco area and surrounding communities in her office immediately adjacent to Baylor Medical Center of Frisco, a unique hospital offering excellence in surgical procedures as well as a new state of the art Labor and Delivery facility. Though Dr. Wood no longer delivers babies, she is more than happy to refer her patients to outstanding obstetricians on staff at Baylor Medical Center of Frisco. Dr. Wood's Staff
